ProSPEC Sound Barrier
ProSPEC and composite are ideal for noise control
applications. ProSPEC barrier is a one pound-per-square-foot loaded and
reinforced vinyl sheeting.
ProSPEC Barrier will not resonate, and
when properly installed, will provid about 25 decibles of noise reduction.
ProSPEC Barrier is ideally suited for isolating noisy equipment or for improving
the transmission loss of sub-standard walls and ceilings. The barrier is
available in 20-foot or 60-foot rolls (both rolls are 54" wide). The standard
color is grey.
ProSPEC Barrier is a 1 pound-per-square-foot loaded
and reinforced vinyl sheeting. Equipment isolation is typically accomplished by
hanging the barrier as a curtain around the noise source.
ProSPEC Composite are High-performance Composite
panels which combine the benefits of both ProSPEC Barrier and Foam. The two
materials are bonded to each other and to a third layer of foam, which acts as a
"decoupler" to help isolate the barrier from vibrations in the wall. Panels are
2' X 4' Class 1, Fiber Free Hypalon, available in Light Gray color.
