Movable Wall Brackets and components

Before ordering and installing the movable wall, you have to check the following details:

Tracks and track brackets

-         Check the height up to under track. Calculate the total height of the brackets. If the height is more than 600mm, V-brackets should be installed to hinder sideways swinging. The distance between V-brackets depends on bracket height and panel weight.

-         Check that the brackets can be installed where planned

-         Check the need to enclose the track and/or to join track with suspended ceiling

-         Consider that there shall be a track escapement to enable installation of panels. Determine a place for the escapement if it cannot be in the usual place: in the straight-run track immediately beside the storage.

-         If the ends of the storage area tracks are left visible use end caps.

-         Check the track color. The standard is silver anodized or with RAL 9010.

Permanent wall

-         Check that the end wall is plumb. If not, plan alternation.
